Does anyone still play Gran Turismo 5?

So I finally got my PS3 hooked up to the TV/Wifi after moving two months ago. Did a system update and a update on GT5. Then I realized no one probably plays GT5 since GT6 came out. Anyone else out there still rocking 5?

I'd go and buy GT6, but every time I mention it my girlfriend not so subtly reminds me that Christmas is a few weeks away and that I should wait until after Christmas in case I get it. Aka she bought it for me for Christmas and I shouldn't waste money on a second copy.

Anyone down for some GT5 shenanigans? Or are all the cool kids on GT6 now?

I am playing it now off and on to get ready for GT6. Need to decide if I need to let my wife buy it for me for Christmas. I am hard to shop for so I sometimes delay things I want in December so I have a list of stuff I want.

I got my PS3 from the first day they went on sale. Still hoping mine doesn't crap out anytime soon. Most of my friends have already lost theirs. I fear mine is a ticking time bomb.

I'm still on 5 but I've got 6 wrapped under the tree waiting for me. From what I understand, there is no online lobby for 6 yet, anyway.

Can anyone confirm?

Aaaaaanyway, I'm hardly ever on, and I just do occasional pick-up races in the "no audio" rooms.

I am in the exact same boat. Really hard to shop for, since anything I want I usually buy, and anything I don't buy is super expensive otherwise I'd have it.

Always fun delaying purchases starting in November so that people can manage to get me something for Christmas.

There's nothing you can do really unless you have a reballing kit. Sony flat out acknowledges they goofed up and made a system that wasn't capable of handling/withstanding its own heat output.

When it's time, it's time. It would seem that we both were/are one of the lucky ones. I just figured that I'm 27 and don't really need/play all that often so I'd just wait till ps4s had a really good sale maybe next black friday or something.

Exactly! I buy everything I want within reason so I never want anything except things we shouldn't buy...like more cars.
